Eq2 daily tradeskill quests
I'm more of a fan of tradeskill quest lines than of daily grinds. While I'm leveling up a crafter, I will only start doing writs once I've run out of every conceivable quest I can find that gives tradeskill experience. To that end, I often skip the daily quests, because I have a full complement of crafters on two servers (18 crafters yikes). The daily tinkering task is a infinite repeatable quest that you can perform once every 18 (real world) hours. The quest offers you an opportunity to skill up your tinkering skill for merely the cost of the fuel the combine takes. All the other required materials are provided to you free of charge. Instead of having daily and weekly quests you could have a repeatable tradeskill quest line. Say 5-9 easy steps where you build up to a difficult final combine. You get a "daily" reward for each of the quests leading up to the final quest, and a "weekly" reward for the final quest in the line.

You must also have completed the quest line from Tears of Veeshan that ends with Captain Overboard. If you don't, then Captain Dariani will not be on the Isle of Mara. Out of an abundance of caution, all Altar of Malice mission quest givers have been despawned on all EQ2 servers. This started earlier this evening with Skrit, the Tradeskill daily mission giver but is now affecting all mission givers of all gameplay styles. Update: The in-game MOTD has been updated with this message: Harvesting Quests and AA Edit. A few quests have been added to the game that help players understand which zones to visit to gather (harvest) materials and to increase skills.
